New Web Site with Free Stuff

AcuTech announces the launch of AcuSafeTM, a free web portal focusing on process safety and risk management issues. AcuSafe will help industry and government by providing an Internet resource center, and a forum for information exchange. AcuTech is the sponsor of AcuSafe, and welcomes contributions from safety professionals worldwide.

Register at AcuSafe for access to the website and to read or download information including news, papers and talks, discussion groups, and other valuable resources.  We welcome your feedback and contributions. Keep checking as we continue to roll out new content!

AcuSafe members also receive a newsletter summarizing key areas of interest in the process safety community and guest columns from industry and government officials. Best of all, the newsletter can be tailored to your areas of interest!  Just use the checklist on the registration page to select the industries and topics you want featured. If you don't see one you would like, suggest it to the editor. Each month we will feature a sample of the free resources from AcuSafeTM.

And now for the free stuff…

Here is the full text of the Federal RMP Rule as it appears in the September 1, 1999 Code of Federal Regulations.  Several changes have been made since the “final” rule was issued in 1996 and the version on the EPA’s website is dated July 1, 1998.  The Federal government has it now on the CFR website, (www.access.gpo.gov) but as a tree structure inconvenient when you want to search the complete rule.  You can download a full text version or the consolidated CFR version from AcuSafeTM for your use.  Hint - search for key words like “certify.” See the website for much more.
